Artists from the Azores take to the streets on Saturday to work live
The artist Martim Cymbron, from the event's organization, recalls that the artists “will be available to work live, bringing art to the city's public spaces”.
Martim Cymbron, in statements to Lusa, safeguards that, “during the evening, anyone who passes through Portas do Mar, in Ponta Delgada, will be able to see the artists in action, watch the various stages of preparation of each of the works, ask questions and satisfy curiosities".
“It will be interesting for the public to appreciate the long and complex work of creation where different artists put their own ideas on canvas and the various phases that are fixed on it”, says the artist.
The “Arte Viva” project is the result of a group of artists composed of painters and sculptors who “have as their main objective to show their potential directly to the public through the works they paint”, 'in loco', and “there is an exchange of ideas each other, exploring new artistic concepts”.
Participating in the initiative are artists Andreia Sousa, Carlos Pins, Erica, Érica Medeiros, Ivo Baptista, João Sousa, Marc Garcia and Martim Cymbron, in addition to Michael Hudec, Pedro Sousa, Yves Dacouster, Raquel Alvernaz, Sara Batista, Sara Rocha, Sotero , Tina Ámbar, Verónica Melo and Xavier Ramos.
