Bitdefender Romania Expands Cybersecurity Partnership With Ferrari.
Bitdefender, a leading global cybersecurity company, announced today that it has expanded its collaboration with Ferrari S.p.A. to offer Bitdefender Advanced Threat Intelligence to support the company's global operations. By integrating Bitdefender Advanced Threat Intelligence into its security operations center (SOC), Ferrari S.p.A. aims to enhance the efficiency of its security analysts in validating and prioritizing alerts, improving threat detection, and accelerating incident response.
As part of this partnership, Ferrari will leverage Bitdefender Operational Intelligence Feeds, which provide comprehensive information on advanced persistent threats (APTs), phishing and fraud attempts, malicious IP addresses, domains, URLs, and file hashes used for spreading malware, vulnerability exploits, command-and-control (C2) servers, and more. This extensive threat context will empower Ferrari security analysts to make informed decisions and take proactive measures.
Furthermore, Ferrari's security analysts will have access to the Bitdefender Operational Intelligence API, a query service that not only offers actionable intelligence on cybersecurity threats but also provides contextual details about threat actors, malware families, victim profiles (industry, country, platform), confidence and severity scores, popularity ratings, vulnerabilities and exploits, and other relevant information.
Recent research, which surveyed over 400 IT and security professionals worldwide, highlights the challenges organizations face in extending cybersecurity capabilities across multiple environments such as on-premises, cloud, and hybrid setups. By leveraging timely and accurate threat intelligence from Bitdefender, Ferrari's security team will be able to swiftly identify malware, malicious campaigns, and unusual activities. This proactive approach will help prevent security breaches and limit the impact of threats across Ferrari's distributed environment, whether it be in their offices or on the racetrack, whether it operates on-premises or in the cloud.
Bitdefender Advanced Threat Intelligence harnesses a vast network of millions of sensors, including its global OEM ecosystem serving businesses of all sizes. These sensors continuously gather threat data worldwide. Bitdefender Labs, an elite team of security experts, analyzes this data to identify evolving threat patterns, collect known indicators of compromise (IOCs), detect malware and malicious domains and URLs, and provide a comprehensive analysis to offer enhanced context around these threats. This combination of telemetry, human expertise, and automated analysis results in the detection of hundreds of new threats every minute, the validation of billions of threat queries daily, and fewer false positives for security teams.
