China Southern Airlines inaugurated a brand-new direct flight route on Wednesday, establishing a convenient link between the cities of London and Beijing.
The recently unveiled route offers a daily flight, commencing from Heathrow Airport at 10:30 p.m. local time, and gracefully touching down at the Beijing Daxing International Airport after approximately 10 hours in the air.
Upon arrival at the Daxing airport, passengers are provided with the opportunity to seamlessly connect with flights heading to various cities across China, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chongqing, and Changsha. Additionally, international destinations such as Tokyo, Osaka, Tashkent, and more are also easily accessible.
Expressing anticipation for the journey, a passenger named Niu shared, "We have never had the chance to land at the Daxing airport since its recent construction, and we are eagerly looking forward to the experience."
Operated by the state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft, this new air service is projected to transport over 600 passengers daily between the two bustling cities, as per the airline's estimates.
Chen Ke, the general manager of China Southern Airlines' London office, expressed optimism regarding the launch of this air route. He believes it will foster a vibrant network of connections and collaboration between Britain and China, while facilitating cultural exchanges and interactions among the people of both nations.
