Recovering some vibrant and learning moments you experienced in the suburbs of the city of Maputo are some of the motivations of the collection “Chronicles of the Suburb: between fiction and reality”, by journalist André Matola, whose launch is scheduled for next Friday, February 24, at 4:15 pm at the Estúdio Auditorio da Televisão de Moçambique (TVM), in the country's capital.
These didactic moments and those of criticism and self-criticism are reflected in the meetings of the driving group, whose fervor is also portrayed in the book. And that's not all. André Matola also believes that he is recovering, in his imagination and that of his contemporaries, the various entertainment spaces for young people and adolescents that were once vacant, but which are now occupied by buildings, warehouses and other infrastructures that have nothing to do with leisure.
