Nabagereka Nagginda's book tops bestseller list on Amazon
The Nnaabagereka of Buganda Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata, the eponymously-named book, won the bestseller badge on Amazon.
The memoir, which was launched on March 23 at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, is currently number one under the 'Best Sellers in East Africa History' category.
The book, which is retailing for $20.42 (about Shs77,000), also got a five-star rating.
The book started drawing interest after people started sharing interesting excerpts from it on social media. It's loaded with information that many people didn't know about.
A few days after launch, local retailers announced that it had sold out.
The memoir, which revealed some captivating details about the relationship between Nagginda and her husband, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, was written by Dr. Dennis Sempebwa.
Dr. Sempebwa, who is a professional author, is the founder of Eagle’s Wings Press, which published the book.
