The IT and telecommunications market outlook in Brazil is positive, with that space set to grow 5%, reaching US$ 80 billion in 2023, according to IT analyst firm IDC.
In a more detailed analysis, the analyst firm noted the IT sector should bode well this year. With growth predicted at 6.2%, spending in that segment will be driven by an 8.7% increase in tech consumption by companies, particularly in cloud computing and software.
The current mood in the Brazilian IT sector for 2023 is "moderate optimism", according to Luciano Ramos, country manager at IDC Brazil. "[This] is due to adjustments and budgets being redirected," the executive said in a statement.
