ChatGPT uses artificial intelligence to generate streams of human-like text from user prompts.
IT experts warn that advanced chatbots such as ChatGPT could soon be used in scams and hacks, with one saying that it already has been used in cybercrimes
They said ChatGPT could be used in multiple ways to enhance cyberattacks and make them harder to detect
For example, unlike many past scams, these tools could ensure text used in scams are free of poor grammar and awkward phrasing
However, the experts also said that technology like ChatGPT is still in its early stages, and organisations have a “window of opportunity” to prepare counter-measures.
