Donations pour in for the opposition before the legislative elections
The opposition party Move Forward received more than 47 million baht from the Political Party Development Fund this year – the highest amount among the 64 registered political parties.
The fund administered by the Electoral Commission has already notified 64 parties of the political grants and allocated the money to them. He posted the party names and amounts on his Facebook page.
When filing their annual tax return, taxpayers have the option of donating a portion of their money (up to 500 baht) to the political party of their choice.
Among the 64 parties, Move Forward received 47.45 million baht, the highest amount.
