Exhibition on autism was inaugurated in Guarenas
The mayor's office of the Plaza municipality, Miranda state, through the Directorate of Culture, inaugurated the exhibition "Autism in Trazos", in the spaces of the José Félix Ribas de Guarenas museum, located in the Pueblo Arriba sector of the jurisdiction.
Edgar Carmona, head of the municipality's Department of Culture, informed that the presentation will be open to the general public until November 17, while stating that the artistic exhibition has the concept of showing, in a playful way, part of the inner world of the people with autism, through the plastic arts with impeccable artistic works.
"In this exhibition we have the participation of 20 artists who are children who have that condition, where they stand out with drawings, sculptures made on paper and with origami, but each one with their own approach from their own world," he added.
Special programming on autism
Cristian Malvar, coordinator of the José Félix Ribas Museum, explained that within the framework of the special program of the historic site, a series of activities focused on autism will be carried out this week.
He explained that for Tuesday, the writer Manuel Cedeño will talk about his life as an autistic, while on Wednesday, a workshop on anime drawings will be held, "because most of these boys go towards that approach like Japanese animes" narrowed down.
On Thursday, a psychological talk will be given on how to treat a person with autism.
Malvar indicated that the programming will end on Friday, with a gastronomic guide and a tasting of the foods that people with this condition should consume. Read More…
