Fake doctor allegedly picked up by men claiming to be law enforcement now in jail
A fake doctor, who was allegedly picked up on April 2 from a private clinic by people in plain clothes claiming to be members of law enforcement agencies from Savar, was now in jail in a case filed on charges of deceiving people.
On April 2, Physician SR Nazrul (38), owner of Naba Diganta Diagnostic Centre, was picked up from the clinic, located at Savar Bus Stand, at around 9:00 pm by men in plain clothes claiming to be law enforcement, claimed his family members.

Detective Branch of Police today claimed they arrested Nazrul on Wednesday (April 6) evening from the capital's Shantinagar area on charges of deceiving people, reports our Savar correspondent quoting Ashraf Siddique, assistant deputy commissioner of DB Wari Zone.
He was sent to jail yesterday (April 7) after being produced before a Dhaka court following a case filed against him with Ramna Police Station on charges of deceiving people by introducing himself as an MBBS doctor.
He was actually a student of a madrasa, the police official claimed, adding that he used to sell fake MBBS certificates and provide fake reports of various tests.
Asked about the family's claim that he was picked up by men in plain clothes on April 2, the police officer said the claim of the family was not true. Read More...
