Film Shot In Greece, ‘Triangle of Sadness’, Nominated for 3 Oscars
Triangle of Sadness, a satirical black comedy film written and directed by Ruben Östlund and produced in association with the Greek production company Heretic, has been nominated for three Oscars.
The film, which was partly shot on location on the Greek island of Evia, has been nominated for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Original Script. It stars Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean, Dolly de Leon, Zlatko Burić, Henrik Dorsin, Vicki Berlin, and Woody Harrelson.
The movie’s plot revolves around wealthy guests on a luxury cruise ship who are stranded on an island after their superyacht sinks.
Oscar nominations
The Oscar nominations for the 2023 Academy Awards were announced this Tuesday, January 24. Triangle of Sadness received nominations in three of the 23 categories, for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Original Script.
