Fiscal transparency: Paraguay, among the countries that “minimally†meet the requirements
The United States Department of State reported that our country is among the 72 countries that met the "minimum requirements for fiscal transparency," according to the 2022 report.
In addition, another 69 countries did not achieve it and 27 made significant progress. For this report, the minimum fiscal transparency requirements include having key budget documents that are publicly available, substantially complete, and generally reliable.
Likewise, the review includes an evaluation of the transparency of the processes for awarding government contracts and licenses for the extraction of natural resources.
