Five beverages other than coffee that will keep you awake

After a long night of partying, working or catching up with your favorite series, you can already expect that groggy feeling the next morning.

From the moment you wake up, you can feel your body getting tired and if you’re not in a position to get some more rest, you will probably need some extra boost to keep you from dozing off all day.

At the top of the list of drinks we go for when we want something to keep us awake, is coffee.

I mean, it’s the most easily available go-to beverage for an energized day. However, not everyone is a fan. Plus there are health concerns about caffeine and all. Though you may argue there is the option of decaf.

Whatever your reservations may be, there are many other options you can choose from that can give you the same energy boost that coffee has.

Check this list out for more on that:

· Matcha tea

If you’re still looking for a tea that can kick start your day while giving you that anti-fatigue coffee effect, we have a winner.

Matcha tea could be the option you’re looking for. It contains caffeine which is a key ingredient that can keep you from feeling tired.

It doesn’t usually have the same caffeine level that coffee has but it’s the perfect drink if you want something that’s not too strong, but good enough to get you through the day.

· Ginseng tea

Ginseng root tea has been around for thousands of years. It’s known to come with various health benefits for people dealing with hypertension, high blood pressure and it can also help to regulate blood sugar among other great benefits.

When it comes to fighting fatigue, you can also benefit by preparing a cup of ginseng root tea. Ginseng root is even added to some energy drinks because it has great properties to maintain high energy levels for hours.

· Coconut water

A cool glass of coconut water is so refreshing on a hot day. Not only that, it can come in handy if your goal is to stay awake.

It contains a number of minerals and electrolytes that work together to hydrate your body and provide you with the boost you need.

You can have a glass first thing in the morning to get you going. Read More…
