French electropop band Kid Francescoli to perform in Hà Ná»™i and HCM City
French electropop trio Kid Francescoli will perform with Vietnamese band Ngầm (Underground) in Hà Ná»™i on July 1.
Kid Francescoli were founded by French artist Mathieu Hocine in 2002. He was originally born in Paris but grew up and lived in Marseille, where he started writing music.
Kid Francescoli released their first album in 2006. Two years later, they started performing internationally in Italy, Luxembourg and Germany.
For nearly two decades, Marseille's Kid Francescoli has been honing their sound with six albums and regular touring.
Kid Francescoli will perform their electropop hits, including from their latest album Lovers; With Julia and Play Me Again.
Lovers was their fifth album, released on January 31, 2020. Their most recent international tour had to be delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic, then restarted a year later with a sold-out event at the Olympia on June 17, 2021.
Their album With Julia affirmed their place in the pop universe. It left Kid Francescoli at the end of a story; one shared with the young American Julia Minkin, a singer from New York and an incarnation of their fascination with the US.
In 2017, Play Me Again heralded an unprecedented phase, both familiar and full of unexpected touches. This collection of songs is the sequel to With Julia.
