Fuel price falls by 2.6% in recent days
The Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin), reported a slight decrease in the price of fuel in Peru and this due to the reduction in its value in international markets.
He reported that prices were low, which was reflected in the Peruvian market, since the price reduction has occurred consecutively throughout the week and that currently the reference cost of 97, 95, 90 and 84 octane gasoline/gasohols has been reduced. on average 0.81%, 1.10% 1.52% and 2.66% respectively, compared to the previous week.
The supervisory body asserted that these incidents do not represent price regulation, since these are free market according to Peruvian law.
Likewise, it explains that the reference prices reflect the behavior of international fuel prices in the United States and are indicators for producers and importers of hydrocarbons
when preparing their price list at the wholesale level.
