Designer Outlet Algarve, located in Loulé, has unveiled an exciting new art exhibition space curated by Gillian Catto, the esteemed founder of the renowned Algarve art gallery, ArtCatto.
The aim is to regularly showcase fresh and captivating artworks in this space, providing shoppers with an additional incentive to visit Designer Outlet Algarve.
The current exhibition proudly presents the works of exceptionally talented artists who have previously exhibited at the esteemed ArtCatto gallery in Loulé. It features a captivating bronze sculpture by Anneke Bester, an intriguing artwork by urban artist Dom Pattinson, the mesmerizing "spontaneous realism" of Voka, and a vibrant "explosion of colors" by the Portuguese artist Pedro Guimarães.
Miguel Paraíso Guerreiro, the general manager of Designer Outlet Algarve, expresses his enthusiasm, stating that having "one of the most prominent art galleries in the country" at Designer Outlet Algarve is truly exceptional. Gillian Catto, who relocated to the Algarve in 2011 after successfully managing a respected gallery in London for 30 years, founded ArtCatto in the historic center of Loulé. Since then, it has blossomed into one of the leading galleries not only in the Algarve but also in the entire country.
Throughout the years, Gillian Catto has earned a reputation for nurturing the careers of numerous artists who have subsequently achieved great renown, including the Scottish painter Jack Vettriano.
