Google Maps and other navigation software has made getting around a lot easier in recent years.
But even so, it can sometimes be a little difficult to follow - especially if you're in unfamiliar territory.
However, the search giant is apparently rolling out an update to its turn-by-turn navigation software that will make it far easier to understand.
The company is looking at using local landmarks to help give you directions.
So, for example, Google Maps will tell you to "turn right by the Pizza Hut," rather than "turn right on Paper Street."
It's a small but significant improvement that more closely mimics how actual humans give each other directions.
Although the feature appears to be in development, only a select few users have actually been granted access to it.
Those that have reported on Twitter that it makes their life A LOT easier.
At the moment it appears that only New York City is being used as a testbed for these kind of directions.
But given the positive reaction, it's likely to assume it will be rolled out to other areas in the future.
