Your Gmail account is changing - and Google is introducing 'several new features'

Google is planning a dramatic change to the design of its Gmail app and will bring in "several new features".
The company confirmed to tech site The Verge that it will be giving the popular email app a "fresh, clean for Gmail on the web".
As well as a new look, there will be a few new "special features" including things like the ability to snooze reply and offline support.
Google also seems to be bringing in Smart Reply which it already has in place in its mobile Gmail app. The feature allows you to quickly send three responses based on the email you just sent. It was introduced back in May 2017.
Other than those small clues, Google hasn't revealed anything more about the new changes or when they will take effect.
There will be an early access program "in the coming weeks" that will give some customers a taste of the new look. It will likely begin rolling out to more accounts from there.
“We’re working on some major updates to Gmail (they’re still in draft phase),” a Google spokesperson told the site.
“We need a bit more time to compose ourselves, so can’t share anything yet - archive this for now, and we’ll let you know when it’s time to hit send.”
Google Calendar on the web was updated recently, to make it look like its mobile counterpart.
