Government Censors Movie that It Claims Features Pedophilia
The government decided that streaming services must immediately stop showing the film "How to Become the Worst Student at School." If not, there will be a penalty of a daily fine of BRL 50,000 if they fail to comply with the decision. The determination came from the National Consumer Secretariat, together with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Tuesday. The feature that has Fábio Porchat and Danilo Gentili in the cast is at the center of a Bolsonarist crusade, taken up by the special secretary for Culture, Mario Frias, and by deputy André Fernandes, who accuse the film of pedophilia and apology for child sexual abuse.
Released five years ago in theaters and available in the catalog of several streaming services as of a few weeks ago, the comedy has a scene in which Porchat's character asks two children to masturbate him.
