Grace Chan Addresses Divorce Rumors, Affirms Strong Marriage with Kevin Cheng
Miss Hong Kong and actress Grace Chan has publicly denied recent rumors regarding her marriage to actor Kevin Cheng, asserting that their relationship remains strong and happy. At a recent event, Chan addressed the speculation, revealing that she was unaware of the gossip as she consciously avoids it. She suggested that the rumors stem from individuals looking to create drama, stating, "Maybe those people wanted to create something to talk about. It's not true. I have been in the industry for 11 years; what haven't I seen or heard?" in an interview with Yahoo! Life.
The rumors surfaced from various gossip sites, which alleged that the couple was on the verge of divorce, claiming that Cheng had "showed his true colors."
Kevin Cheng, 55, is a well-known actor in Hong Kong, recognized for his leading roles in popular TVB dramas such as "Hard Fate," "Under the Canopy of Love," "Last One Standing," "Ip Man," and "Scarlet Heart." Grace Chan, 33, originally from Canada, won the Miss Hong Kong title in 2013 before transitioning into acting. She has appeared in various TV dramas, including "Raising the Bar," "Blue Veins," and "Keyboard Warriors."
The couple first met in 2014 while filming their respective dramas "Overachievers" and "Eye in the Sky." They began dating a year later after co-starring in "Blue Veins." They are proud parents to three sons: Rafael, 5, Yannick, 3, and Carlos, 1.
