Grand Theft Auto 6 Can Finally Break A Long-Running GTA Trend
The upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 can break a long-running trend of the 26-year-old franchise. Rockstar confirmed that it's been actively developing the next entry in its immensely successful open-world crime series, moving all available resources onto the title's development. Leaks last year revealed its setting and protagonists and gave players a glimpse at some of the new gameplay mechanics in store.
As per the leaks, GTA 6 will return to Vice City for the first time since the series' "3D era", which consisted of six interconnected titles released between 2001 and 2006, although whereas that era's version of the city was set in the 80s and paid homage to the likes of Miami Vice and Scarface, GTA 6's will reportedly be set in the present day like GTA 4 and GTA 5. The title will also follow GTA 5's lead by having multiple playable protagonists, a "Bonnie and Clyde-esque" duo called Lucia and Jason. Read More…
