Guaranteed security of the Paraguayan electoral system
The director of Political Financing of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE), Christian Ruiz Díaz, guaranteed the security of the Paraguayan electoral system with a view to the general elections on April 30.
"We are fully confident in the security that we have developed in our system, both for electronic voting and for the Transmission of Preliminary Electoral Results (TREP) ," said Ruiz Díaz in communication with Universo 970AM/Nación Media radio station.
In addition, he pointed out that our electoral system is envied by many countries in the region. “It is a system envied by many countries in the region that we assist so that they can implement it. We did a lot of testing, we even invited those who said they could break the system, but they never showed up,” he added.
He also announced that the general elections will take place without any inconvenience. "We have supported us for 20 years, we are very sure of everything and that the elections will take place normally," said the director of Political Financing of the highest electoral institution.
It should be noted that the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the National Concertation and head of the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA), Efraín Alegre, had expressed his distrust weeks ago about the work being carried out by the Superior Court of Electoral Justice, indicating that his own parallel count would give him the results on general election day on April 30.
