Horizont Celebrate Anniversary With The Release Of A Sixth Album and Concerts
Horizont, a band with a rich history spanning four decades, is celebrating their 40th anniversary with the release of their sixth album titled Izmisleni istini ("Invented Truths"). Formed in 1984 by a group of classmates and friends, the band has remained steadfast in their commitment to melodic rock. Their journey includes a significant milestone in 1994 when they had their first professional performance at "The Golden Orpheus" festival.
The current lineup of the band features frontman Valeri Slavchev on lead vocals and guitar, Dimitar Benkov on keyboards and vocals, Valeri Ivanov on bass guitar and vocals, and Mihail Zhelev on percussion instruments. This year, they are marking two major anniversaries: the band's 40th year and the release of their latest album.
To celebrate these milestones, Horizont has planned a series of over 40 concerts. Some of these performances are part of the "Concerts with a Cause" tour, scheduled to take place in various summer theaters across the country in September, featuring a lineup of multiple performers. The other concerts will be held under the banner "40 years Horizont band," offering fans a chance to join in the celebration of the band's enduring legacy in the music world.
