Huawei launched another edition of the "Seeds for the future" program
Huawei's flagship program, called " Seeds for the Future ", an initiative that seeks to inspire local talent through technological innovation and cultural exchange, was officially launched yesterday at Hotel La Misión.
The event was attended by the director of the National System for Labor Education and Training (Sinafocal), Alfredo Mongelos; deans of universities, the students who will participate in the fifth edition of the program and representatives of the brand.
During the launch, led by Chiche Corte, attendees were able to learn more about this initiative and heard testimonials from students from previous editions. Likewise, the students and their corresponding houses of study were presented for this edition, such as the National University of Asunción, the Catholic University, the American University and the Universidad del Norte. For their part, the representatives of the educational institutions expressed a few words of gratitude.
At the end of the event, the guests enjoyed a pleasant toast and shared a moment with the participants, as well as with the figures present. The program promotes virtual education and develops knowledge in information and communication technologies, and has also been carried out in our country since 2018 and to date, more than 50 students from local universities have benefited.
Likewise, between 2018 and 2019, young people had the opportunity to travel to China, so that in addition to encouraging learning and the transfer of knowledge about ICTs, it also promotes exchange and cultural immersion. In the years 2020 and 2021 they carried out the program virtually due to the pandemic.
2022 Edition
In its 2022 edition, the selected university students will be able to learn from September 13 to 20 about information and communication technologies (ICT) and leadership, and will have the opportunity to travel to Buenos Aires to participate in the graduation ceremony in addition to sharing and exchange with young people from all over the world and visit Huawei offices.
The program will include trainings on key technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence and the cloud. Likewise, scientists and experts will share their experiences and perspectives on areas of technological specialization from cybersecurity to smart cities.
