KCON LA 2023 Reveals Impressive Artist Lineup
KCON LA 2023 is set to captivate audiences from August 18 to August 20 with its exceptional lineup of artists, spanning K-pop legends to the hottest sensations, as announced by CJ ENM on Thursday. This grand event, renowned as the largest K-culture festival, will take place at the esteemed Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center, featuring a total of 20 K-pop acts.
Among the performers, several artists will make their debut on the US stage during this event. Notably, IVE, a prominent fourth-generation female group that recently entered the Billboard charts with their latest tracks "I AM" and "Kitsch," will grace the audience with their remarkable talent. Additionally, Shownu and Hyungwon, the first unit from the renowned group Monsta X, will present their unit album for the first time in the United States.
Xikers, a group of rookies that achieved an astounding feat by securing spots on seven different Billboard charts within just 12 days of their debut, will also seize the opportunity to perform in the US through this event. Furthermore, Zerobaseone, a nine-member group selected through the reality audition program "Boys Planet," will take the stage with their highly anticipated debut album.
In addition to the group performances, several K-pop soloists will showcase their exceptional talents. The legendary global star Rain, who played a pivotal role in opening doors to the international music market for K-pop, will grace the stage. Joining him will be Taemin from SHINee, an extraordinary soloist known for his outstanding performances, as well as Taeyong from NCT, who recently made his solo debut with the impressive album "SHALALA."
The sensational K-pop group, Stray Kids, which has been making waves in the US, will also participate in this remarkable event. Moreover, the stage will be shared by other fourth-generation K-pop acts, including Cravity, (G)I-dle, INI, ITZY, Kep1er, ATEEZ, Everglow, NMIXX, Lapillus, The Boyz, and Way V.
