Los Ardiles cover great classics of The Beatles in Peruvian rhythms
Inspired by their love and admiration for The Beatles, the dynamic duo Los Ardiles culminated one of their most ambitious projects: cover the music of the British band in Peruvian genres. The result is the powerful album “Arditles”, in which we can find 10 classic Fab Four songs, recorded to the rhythm of guitar, cajon and castanets.
After the successful preview of the single “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” with a polka rhythm, released in June of last year, Jaime and Kiko Ardiles present the complete album that contains covers of great hits such as “ Twist and Shout ” (party), “She Love You” (polka), “Michelle” (waltz), “Girl” ( waltz), “And I Love Her” (waltz ), “Day Tripper” (party), “ Yesterday ” ( waltz), “ Nowhere Man” (waltz) and “If I Fell” (waltz).
“In 'Arditles' (fusion of Ardiles and Beatles ) we have covered these hits with a lot of Creole feeling. We are respecting the lyrics and sound of each of these songs created by Paul McCartney and John Lennon”, says Kiko.
