Lukas Gage teased ongoing rumors of his alleged romance with hairstylist Chris Appleton.
“If they want to think that, they can,” Gage told The New York Times when asked about the buzz.
The “White Lotus” star added that dating while in the public eye has been difficult.
“I’m a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody’s business and nothing can be sacred. It’s a weird line that I’m still trying to figure out.”
Although Gage tried to keep their relationship status on the down low, Appleton reposted the NYT article to his Instagram Story, writing, “Hot & Talented 🔥.”
In fact, the pair seemingly made their red carpet debut on Wednesday night at a Vanity Fair event.
