Nigerian actress Chioma Akpotha has addressed the recent viral rumors regarding the birth of her baby boy. The speculation began circulating on social media after a congratulatory post was shared, leading many to believe that she had welcomed a child.
The rumors were further fueled by a playful post from her best friend and colleague, Omoni Oboli, who humorously claimed to have spent hours discussing baby-related topics with Chioma, including naming ceremonies and breastfeeding.
In response to Oboli’s post, Chioma took to social media to debunk the rumors, clarifying that the only "new baby" she is focused on at the moment is her YouTube channel. She stated, “Oh by the way, on YouTube I have a set of twins,” indicating her commitment to her online content rather than any new additions to her family.
Chioma Akpotha is a well-known figure in the Nigerian film industry, recognized for her talent as an actress, director, and movie producer. She gained significant acclaim in 2007 when she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for “Best Actress in a Leading Role” for her performance in the film Sins of the Flesh. Additionally, she received the Afro Hollywood Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role in 2010.
