LUZ for the second consecutive year among the best universities in Latin America

The Scimago Institutions Rankings published on March 6, the Scimago 2023 Rankings, the document that lists the most recognized universities worldwide. LUZ was part once again.
This ranking classifies research institutions and positions them through an indicator that combines the variables of research, innovation and social impact; and the latter for the visibility of their web pages .
The region's university, Universidad del Zulia (LUZ), was positioned as the second best university in Venezuela according to this year's list, achieving the Q2 percentile. This is due to his advances in the research area.
However, the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) ranks first as the best in the country. It obtained the Q1 percentile, which demonstrates the institution's commitment to the different research variables, teaching and extension, fundamental axes of universities to achieve positioning in this prestigious world ranking .
In another line was the Universidad de los Andes (ULA), which reached third place for its outstanding scope in training and the Simón Bolívar University (USB) in the fourth line, as the best alma mater in Venezuela. Read More…
