The leader of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, declared, on Wednesday, in TârgoviÅŸte, at the election conference of the county youth organization, that he will "break the chain" of former presidents of the formation who have joined his party, saying that if he leaves PSD will take him home.
"I will break this circus created by the former presidents of the PSD who made their party. I started a political career in PSD, I will go home from PSD. I hope that also at the national level, the future president of the TSD - and please be careful who you choose (...) - will break the chain already equal to that of the former presidents of the PSD who joined their party, to find themselves now in other parties or to color and smell the opportunities. That's what they thought", said Ciolacu.
He added that he will not have "this frustration", referring to former PSD presidents who joined their party, such as Victor Ponta, Viorica Dăncilă or Liviu Dragnea.
"I told the young people that I will break (...) this chain of former PSD presidents. I will not have this frustration. I will go home, if my colleagues consider it so.
