Morocco Launches New Education College Program
Morocco’s Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation announced on Saturday that it will soon be opening registration for a new college program centered around education.
Called the “renewed program to train a new generation of teachers,” the initiative is part of the Ministry’s efforts to accelerate pedagogic reforms nationwide.
The program will teach a renewed pedagogic approach, according to the ministry, which aims to create educators for the primary and secondary levels.
The 3-year program will be open to those who obtained their baccalaureate in 2021 and 2022, as well as any other certificate recognized by the Ministry, said a press release, detailing the three pillars that the program will rely on.
To instill competency in pedagogic sciences and techniques, the program will explore educational psychology, sociology, education ethics, as well as pedagogy 4.0 to integrate digital technologies into education. Read More...
