Homes in the Guaicaipuro sector of Maca, Petare, are at high risk due to landslides due to heavy rains, José Vicente Rangel Ávalos, mayor of the Sucre municipality of Miranda state, reported Monday.
Rangel Ávalos indicated that the buildings will be demolished in a controlled manner.
The situation occurred on Guzmán Blanco street in the Guaicaipuro neighborhood, where a multi-storey house began to collapse on Sunday night, affecting neighboring houses.

He indicated on Twitter that the situation puts 10 homes and 22 families at risk. But it was not clear if the 10 houses she mentioned will be demolished or if only some of them are beyond repair.
