My Home Is An Afterthought: Don't miss Mark Reeboskic's exhibition from March 10 to 17
What happens when the house ceases to be just a physical ambience with walls and a roof in which we are safe, and becomes a feeling, a state, people or environment? Can the house be anywhere then? With his works, Marko Reeboskic questions the relationship of man as a foreigner in a community.

Batik is an ancient Indonesian tradition of making hand-dyed fabrics from cotton and silk with the help of wax. The artist adopts this technique in a personal and modern way. He creates an abstract form through meditative repetition of patterns and his own play with colors.
Marko Reeboskic was born in 1994 in Belgrade. He attended master's studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, and continued his studies at the Vietnam National University in Hanoi, Department of Interior Design, as well as in Indonesia at the Institute of Art in Yogiakarta. After graduating, he focused his artistic practice on researching different methods of visual expression. Through the use of geometric form, Marko transforms everyday experiences and places into a simple abstraction painted on fabric or shown on canvas.
The exhibition opens on March 10 at 8 pm and lasts until March 17. Read More…
