The television presenter has taken over as the host of UTV's popular show, United Showbiz, replacing the actress who previously held the position. Since then, some fans have been drawing comparisons between the new host and the former one. However, MzGee, the presenter, has made it clear that she would rather be herself than try to imitate someone else.
In a social media post, MzGee addressed her critics and expressed her stance by stating, "I would rather fail in originality than become a mere copy of another! I have reached this point in my career by being true to myself, and I have earned a reputation as one of the most respected individuals in this field."
Explaining why she is well-suited for the job, MzGee, who has previously worked at Media General and Multimedia, emphasized, "After accomplishing all these milestones, why would I want to be an imitation? I am knowledgeable in my craft, and that's what I will continue to do. I'm not interested in unnecessary showiness or engaging in trivial matters."
She further added, "Yes, I am open to learning and improving with each challenge. (I understand that some of you might be eager to witness my failure, but you forget that it is God who determines the fate of individuals in positions of power.) I will always be myself, proceeding at my own pace and in my own distinctive style. I apologize if that offends you!"
