Cristián de la Fuente admits having felt harassed
Following the recent viral video depicting Cristián de la Fuente's entrance without a shirt during his performance in the play "Los Amantes Perfectos" and a woman subsequently throwing money at him, new information has emerged regarding his emotional state. Sherlyn, who shares the stage with the actor, disclosed in a brief press meeting that while Cristián initially took the incident lightheartedly, behind the scenes he admitted feeling intimidated by the woman.
"I personally didn't witness the incident as I entered the stage later," Sherlyn stated, "but when we were in the dressing room, he confided in us that he now understood how women feel when they experience harassment. He was quite serious about it afterwards, and we can comprehend why," commented the actress, as reported by Mezcalent.
Sherlyn further revealed that Cristián promptly returned the money to the woman who had thrown it at him. In response, the cast jokingly suggested he should have kept it and treated them all to dinner.
The year 2022 proved to be tumultuous for De la Fuente, as he became embroiled in a series of scandals. One significant incident involved the release of a compelling video by Primer Impacto, which shed light on the actor's personal life. The footage depicted the star of "Amor Bravío" kissing a woman who was not his wife, accompanied by fellow actor Juan Soler.
Since September 2022, Angélica Castro, De la Fuente's wife, has chosen to remain steadfast and silent regarding the issue of infidelity. Following the video's publication, it was known that they had separated, with three months passing by. However, Chilean journalists claim that in December of the same year, Angélica and Cristián reconciled and even vacationed together in Brazil alongside their daughter, Laura.
In front of the media, De la Fuente made it clear from the beginning that his family was the only party deserving of an explanation. "Thank you very much, I appreciate everything you're saying. The only people I owe an apology to are my family. I need to make amends, apologize, and become a better person. There's nothing more to clarify," declared the actor last year as he faced the media's probing questions upon leaving Mexico City airport, as reported by Hola! magazine.
