Nikos Pappas joins Panathinaikos wheelchair basketball team
Nikos Pappas has become a member of the Panathinaikos wheelchair basketball team, which is allowed to have two able-bodied players during the game.
Greek veteran player Nikos Pappas belongs to the roster of the Panathinaikos Athens basketball team, but he will also compete with the club's wheelchair basketball team, per the official announcement.
Each wheelchair team has the right to register two able-bodied players, and 32-year-old Pappas is taking one of the spots.
Pappas has actively helped the wheelchair team since the beginning. He has also shown a strong desire to join the team for two years now.
"As I have said before, I feel part of this group since it was created and I participate in its activity anyway. I had expressed my interest in issuing a bulletin, however, with the COVID-19 pandemic, everything went back in time. It happened to be issued now," he explained.
