22-27 September we gather again for a celebration of the best new Nordic documentaries and short films! Welcome to enjoy film screenings, master classes, seminars and special events all around Malmö!
During the festival we invite filmmakers from all Nordic countries to compete in our five competition programmes and to present their films to the local audience in Malmö. We also invite decision makers, commissioners and producers from all around the world to take part in our Market and Forum events, meetings and networking opportunities.

Opening Films 2022
Opening films this year are the documentary Golden Land Kultainen maa) by ​​Inka Achté and animated short film Night of the Living Dread Night of the Living Dread) by Ida Melum.
Films in Competition 2022
Out of 433 submitted films, this year 64 have been selected to compete for the awards in Nordisk Panorama Film Festival’s five competition categories. ​​The 33rd edition of the festival is taking off in Malmö, Sweden 22-27 September.
