Sound healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational sound to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace, well being and better health. Ohmpunctuur, developed by Peter Gouw, is an evolution in the field of sound therapy. It is a reflex technique that uses the ancient Chinese acupuncture knowledge. The needles are replaced by special tuning forks with different frequencies, combined with crystal bowls and planetary gongs. The harmonic vibrations can release stuck energy, remove toxins, clean aura and bring our body, mind and spirit into balance. You build inner strength and tranquility, flexibility and endurance.


Sessions last one hour and take place fully clothed on a massage table. A variety of instruments may be used such as tuning forks, Tibetan bowls, crystal bowl, gong, shaman drum and wind chimes. Tuning forks produce a very pure tone with most of the vibrational energy at the fundamental frequency and are being put on the acupuncture points of the body. It resonates at a specific constant pitch when set vibrating by striking it against a surface or with an object. Bowls are placed and played around and under the table and on your chakras (energy centers), which are also being massaged. At least 4 consecutive sessions are recommended. Many clients also treat themselves to a session to gain clarity on an issue, re-vitalize and just feel great and even more connected to the universe.
