Polish LOT reveals until when it will keep the Airline to Sarajevo
The Polish airline LOT will continue operating its Warsaw to Sarajevo route until January 12, 2025. Following this, there will be a brief pause in service from January 13 to February 22, 2025. After the break, the route is expected to be reinstated.
During the autumn and winter seasons, flights will be less frequent, but daily services will resume in April 2025. All flights on this route will be operated using the Embraer 195 aircraft, which has a seating capacity of 112 passengers.
This route, established in May 2022, was a result of collaboration between Sarajevo International Airport and USAID’s Sustainable Tourism Development Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project launched an innovative incentive scheme to encourage airlines to introduce new routes or expand existing services to Sarajevo.
LOT Polish Airlines, founded in 1928, is one of the world's oldest airlines and has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing airlines in Europe. In 2019, nearly 12 million passengers used their services.
