Portuguese actress shines in “Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3”
The last volume of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy premieres in Portugal on 4 May and features the participation of the Portuguese actress Daniela Melchior, who has already been present in other productions in Hollywood.
Daniela Melchior, a Portuguese actress who has previously appeared in "The Suicide Squad," has been handpicked by director James Gunn to make a return to a blockbuster film. This time around, Melchior portrays the character Ura, an employee at a corporate headquarters who plays a significant role in some of the film's most bizarre moments.
In the movie, Melchior's character is depicted with honey-coloured contact lenses and burgundy skin, adding to the complexity of the film's narrative. This marks Gunn's final work with Marvel before transitioning to the leadership role at competitor DC Studios.
During a recent press conference, Melchior revealed that she will miss the characters in the movie, which features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoë Saldaña, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and Will Poulter.
The film succeeds in delivering Gunn's signature explosive and bloody style while also integrating a healthy dose of humor, which sets it apart from the trilogy. Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 will hit cinemas in Portugal on May 4th.
