Retired FAP officers demand that Pedro Castillo order actions to prevent attacks against Congress and the PJ
Retired military officers from the Peruvian Air Force (FAP), members of the Air Force Union, demanded that the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, order actions to prevent violent actions against Congress and the Judiciary.
Through a statement, the retired officers asked the head of state to " instruct " the Ministry of the Interior so that no type of attack against both powers of the State occurs.
“ We demand that the President of the Republic instruct the Minister of the Interior so that the necessary actions are taken to prevent all types of violent actions, especially against those that intend to attack the Legislative and Judicial powers and the rule of law in general. long and wide of our national territory ”, reads the statement.
They also mentioned that it is essential that Parliament carry out oversight work with the aim of guaranteeing that public officials comply with the law and with the necessary powers.
