Russian Athletes win Gold and Bronze Medals in one race at the 2024 Paralympic Games
Russian olympic track events competitors Alexander Kostin and Anton Kulyatin won gold and bronze in the 1,500m race at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris on Tuesday, September 3.
Kostin, who won gold, ran the 1,500 m distance in a short time 44.43 seconds. Rouay Djebabli of Tunisia finished in a time of 3:44.67, and Anton Kulyatin of Russia came in third. The opposition was held in the T13 class - for visually impaired sprinters.
Prior at these equivalent games, Kostin and Kulyatin won silver and bronze in the 5,000 m distance.
Kostin is 20 years of age and is a bronze medalist at the Tokyo Games in the 5,000m occasion.
Kulyatin, who is 33 years old, is the world and Tokyo Paralympic champion in the 1,500-meter race.
At the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, Russian track and field athlete Alexander Yaremchuk, who competes under a neutral flag, won a gold medal on August 31. The competitor ran the 1,500 m distance quickly 50.24 seconds. He competed against people with limb deficiencies in the T46 category.
