Scientific Centre for Artificial Intelligence Established in Belarus
A new scientific center dedicated to artificial intelligence has been established in Belarus, as announced by the United Institute of Informatics Problems at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. This initiative marks a significant advancement in the country's IT landscape.
The center, known as the Scientific Artificial Intelligence Center (AI-center), was created through a collaboration between the United Institute of Informatics Problems and Intelligence's Innovation, a resident company of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone. The AI-center will be located on the premises of the institute, providing a dedicated space for research and development in various cutting-edge technologies.
The AI-center will focus on several key areas, including machine vision, natural language processing, neural networks, supercomputing, and cybersecurity. These fields are crucial for advancing artificial intelligence applications and enhancing the capabilities of the Belarusian IT industry.
