After Bakel, the level of the Senegal River has exceeded the alert level in Matam (north) in recent hours, the Ministry of Water and Sanitation announced on Tuesday. "The data concerning the Senegal River, collected in recent hours, indicates that in Matam, the water level has exceeded the alert level of 8 meters for a few days, standing at 8.15 meters on Tuesday, September 20. at 8 a.m.,” the ministry warned in a statement.
