Sfax : Substitute teachers boycott classes for the third day in a row
Substitute secondary teachers in Sfax are continuing the boycott of classes, for the third day in a row since school resumed after the end of spring vacation.
In a statement to the TAP Agency, the regional coordinator of substitute teachers in Sfax, Riad Radhoui indicated that "the decision to boycott the courses comes in response to the policy of procrastination carried out by the supervisory authority concerning the payment of 7 months of unpaid salaries, settlement of the professional status of substitute teachers and their social and health coverage.
"The boycott of classes will continue where the negotiation session to be held next week does not lead to an agreement that puts an end to precarious forms of employment, and does not solve the financial and professional problems of substitute teachers " , underlined the same source. Read More…
