This specimen, one of the largest flying birds on the planet, was placed at the disposal of the park rangers of the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp) by residents of the community, who immediately organized their attention to restore it, reintroduce it and later release it. to the wild on the highest slope of the protected natural area.
According to the head of the RPNYC, Abdias Villoslada, the release of this condor specimen took place last weekend in the town of Vitis, after various efforts focused on safeguarding the species, such as its diet, by meeting the conditions to reintroduce it. to its ecosystem throughout the reserve.
