Telegram has announced a new update that fixes a major issue for working professionals. The messaging app now lets you join multiple chat groups or channels in one go. It has added shareable chat folders that can be used to instantly get new hires onboard all relevant company chats. The same tool also enables you quickly set up a new chat system for your team or organization. Non-professional users can also use the new feature to add their friends to multiple chats at once. Earlier, you needed to invite or add new people to each group or channel individually.
Telegram supports multiple invite links for its shareable chat folders. Before creating a link, you can select chats that you want to invite someone to. You can also give a unique name to each link you share, making it easier for the recipient to identify what a chat folder is about. The recipient can see all groups or channels they have been invited to, and join them all with a single tap. If you add more chats to your folder, you can share an updated link. All members will then see a suggestion to join the newly added chats. You can create chat folders from the Settings menu and add any public chat.
Telegram has also improved bots and added custom wallpapers
In addition to shareable chat folders, Telegram has also announced improvements for bots on the app. The messaging platform can now host seamless web apps that can be launched in any chat. You can use a direct link or the bot’s username to access it immediately. Web apps also support collaboration and multiplayer features for members in Telegram groups.
