The film Love Transmits the Mountain has a record: Five children have gradually joined the team
The mountain comedy, which hit theaters a few days ago, boasts not only a story and an interesting way of telling. The bride gets lost in one of the Tatra hotels just before the wedding and the film tells the story from three different points of view from three key people.
The film by the Czech director Jakub Machala, who invited many Slovak actors to his project in addition to the Slovak production company, was created with great emphasis on ecology. Producers from Bright Sight Pictures are ambassadors of the so-called green screen and did their utmost to minimize the environmental impact of filming.
At the same time, however, the filmmakers managed another record - in the number of producer offspring born during the filming!
During the project, from the development of the script, which began in February 2020 to distribution in cinemas in May 2022, up to five children were born to the four producer families involved in the film. The parents became producer Daniel Brogyányi as well as producers Simona Bago Móciková, Radka Babincová and KateÅ™ina Buzková, while the last two mentioned even took part in the filming with the babies.
"Love Transmits the Mountain is the second film we made with our daughter. The first was the drama of Mariana ÄŒengel SolÄanská Slúžek in the autumn of 2020, in which she even played as a three-month-old. She was just eight months old during the filming and was going through a separation crisis, so she had to be with me non-stop, which would be quite demanding even in a comfortable home. But it was great to watch how she is interested in everything, she is a very curious child, "says Radka Babincová, Slovak producer from Bright Sight Pictures. Her partner and father of the child is the film's director Jakub Machala, for whom it was the director's feature film debut.
"When I was fully immersed in directing, my daughter was with my partner / film producer Radka. We usually met in the evening in a hotel room, both exhausted from parental responsibilities. We were glad that we switched a few tired sentences at all and went to bed. But I was definitely glad that we were all together on filming, I can't imagine that we wouldn't see each other for a month, "Jakub Machala recalls of filming, which was also complicated by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
However, the result was primarily due to the filmmaking enthusiasm of young filmmakers, which is confirmed by most of the first responses. Read More...
