The renowned artist Paolo Vigo presents a series of works that have a great conceptual and symbolic load, moving between expressiveness and surrealism in an exhibition entitled "Fragments and musings of being."
The exhibition is made up of sixteen works including paintings, intervened drawings, sculptures and black boxes that, in the words of the curator and art critic Juan Peralta, "introduce us to narratives that allude to situations of the human condition and conflicts that, in these times , postmodern, post-pandemic and global, have been accentuating, affirming situations of isolation and loneliness of the individual ".
In his works, young characters can be seen whose heads are intervened by cages or nests with birds and floral elements or plants, while in his sculptures the characters wear gas masks and in his drawings, interventions are made using gouache, achieving greater agitation and rupture of stillness and serenity, it is this level of abstraction that leads us to highlight these situations of violence and crisis of the individual
The exhibition is organized by Villart Online Art Gallery, which is significant for being its first face-to-face art exhibition in 2022 and, also, for the reopening of the Amano museum's art room, after two years of having its closed doors. Read More…
