Scheduled for April 12, the festival will return to its new venue, the GelreDome Stadium in Arnhem, Netherlands. This event marks the only Transmission show in Europe for 2025, solidifying its status as one of the continent’s premier trance destinations.
The initial lineup for Transmission 2025 features some of the most influential names in the trance music scene, promising an unforgettable experience. Headlining the festival is Ferry Corsten, who will deliver a milestone 25th-anniversary performance of his iconic project, Gouryella, celebrating a quarter-century of groundbreaking sounds.
Trance pioneer Paul van Dyk, known for his anthems that helped define the genre's golden age, will also grace the stage, bringing his masterful touch to the event. Markus Schulz, another key figure in the trance community, will showcase his progressive trance flair in the GelreDome’s expansive indoor arena.
The lineup also includes Cosmic Gate, who are known for their ability to evolve while honoring the essence of trance, and Digital Culture, a powerful techno-trance collaboration between Richard Durand and RAM, promising to energize the dancefloor with their unique sound. Craig Connelly, a prominent figure with three #1 selling albums and a prolific catalog of Beatport chart-toppers, will add his expertise to the lineup. Rising British talent Daxson will represent the future of the genre with his contemporary take on trance sounds. Additionally, Driftmoon, fresh from a spectacular appearance at Transmission 2024 in Prague, is set to return with a specially curated “vintage pure trance” set, taking fans on a nostalgic journey through the genre’s most influential era.
Transmission Festival is renowned for its signature blend of cutting-edge technology, mind-bending special effects, and meticulously crafted scenography. Running from 2 PM to 11 PM, the festival will create a unique night-time atmosphere during the day, with each artist's set preceded by specially designed intros that weave a seamless narrative throughout the nine-hour journey. The GelreDome’s state-of-the-art facilities provide an ideal backdrop for Transmission’s production team to push the limits of what is possible in an indoor festival setting.
In the lead-up to the main event, fans can look forward to "Road To Transmission," an exclusive show in Prague taking place in March, featuring artists like Daxson, Richard Durand, and Orjan Nilsen, setting the stage for the grand celebration in April.
